Amazing session at BT last week! A great example of Customer Closeness ⭐
Building on a programme of customer immersion and the engagement from a session we ran in February for our Digital Leadership team, this event was a brilliant example of what can be achieved with cross team collaboration. With BT Digital’s Consumer User Research team, Group Insight hosted our Digital leadership team at a customer event with our new CEO Allison Kirkby as a guest. Getting closer to our customers’ lives and needs through an in person immersion activity before bringing to life how this relates to needs when using the EE app, in a user research session. Great to have our senior leaders in the room with customers, engaging directly in customer ‘speed dates’, hearing the human experiences behind the data and asking questions before watching the user research session. Even more rewarding to hear priorities being discussed by leadership and the positive feedback from customers, feeling that their opinions were valued, especially when it was revealed who they had been talking to. These things take weeks in the planning and so big thanks to Sharan Gandhi, Matt Mansfield, Adel Kalman and to our partners The Customer Closeness Company who exemplify working in partnership, guiding me through new challenges and expertly facilitating the immersion session 👏 (Alison Bannister David Rose Sharan Gandhi Anna Eggleton Nicola Craig)
