We're excited to launch our new work with RSPB, created with BAFTA winning Blue Zoo Animation Studio. The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world, with one in six native British species at risk of extinction. This campaign aims to raise awareness of the urgent need for nature to be protected and restored. We Campaign Because They Can't features a series of 15-second comedy short animations, urging the nation to campaign on behalf of UK nature. 📰 Thank you to The Drum for featuring the campaign as Ad of the Day: https://lnkd.in/ge-VtJUc ➡️ Read more about the work here: https://lnkd.in/gHB6TrKm

Our new government seeks to "return to the politics of public service" - a sentiment that motivates many of us in the charity sector and many of our donors. The list of challenges and demands from the sector for our new government is long. And the potential for solutions is exciting. However, before we look into the future, we recommend all charities take a minute to reflect on the 44 days of election campaigning and what they can learn from them. ➡️ GOOD's Head of Planning, Pete Esuola-Grant, shares five lessons for charities here: https://lnkd.in/eai42AaE

At GOOD we are proud to have worked closely with with health and disability charities since our inception, helping them to strengthen their brand, boost fundraising, raise awareness and much more. Lived experience is at the heart of all our work. In particular for healthcare charities, where individual experiences are deeply personal and often difficult to share, we believe this approach leads to the most powerful and authentic creative with maximum impact. ➡️ Read more about our work with Healthcare Charities here: https://lnkd.in/etcgzfK2

Today, across the UK voters will head to the polls as the 2024 General Election begins. However in the last General Election, only 13% of blind and partially sighted people felt they could vote independently and in secret. Our latest work with RNIB calls for everyone to have the right to vote in secret. It was created in response to the insight that most blind and partially sighted people have to be assisted by a companion or polling staff member to read or mark their vote on the ballot paper, which can leave voters feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. 🗳️ More in Campaign UK here: https://lnkd.in/ejhmNZEg

The right to vote in secret was established over 150 years ago, yet this right is still not afforded to many blind and partially sighted people. In the 2019 General Election, only 13% of blind and partially sighted people felt they could vote independently and in secret. Our latest work with RNIB has been created in response to the insight that most blind and partially sighted people have to be assisted by a companion or polling staff member to read or mark their vote on the ballot paper, which can leave voters feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. The film calls for reliable solutions to be made widely available, with the upcoming election the need for change is more urgent now than ever before. 🗳️ Read more about the work here: https://lnkd.in/eranUM5c

"I’m proud of this campaign not just because it feels incredible to see my work displayed in the tunnels I’ve frequented my entire life, but because it aims to bring us one step closer to a more accessible and inclusive world. And what’s more, me and at least 5,000 others will never be paralysed by panic again. How’s that for a support network?" Josie Hicks, Copywriter at GOOD, shares her experience of working on our latest campaign with RNIB: https://lnkd.in/emm8EGGW We're so proud to share that 5,000 people downloaded the Be Helpful guide in the first two weeks alone, with that figure ever increasing.
