We are excited to announce that a total of 2.975 million £1 coins bearing His Majesty King Charles III’s official coin portrait are being issued to Post Offices and Banks this week. Depicting two British bees, the coin is part of His Majesty's definitive collection, inspired by flora and fauna of the British Isles. In 2023, it topped our poll to find which of the 8 coin designs are the nation's favourite - receiving almost 30% of the vote. Bee-eautiful! Did you know that only 17% of electronic waste is formally recycled each year? Thanks to our new precious metals recovery plant, we can process up to 4,000 tonnes of e-waste in the same time frame, helping to tackle this global environmental problem.
