Super grateful to The Centre for Conscious Design (CCD) for collaborating on this video "short", and to Itai Palti for dreaming with me, coaching, editing, and sharing it with the amazing CCD community. I hope this is the first of many "shorts"!

Córdoba has always been a pioneer for many things. Being in the center of our country, we Cordobans say that it is the heart of it. And here this movement of understanding the responsibility we have when designing the spaces we inhabit, our environments, our cities begins to beat. Today we accompany this great city from our place with a conscious design movement where we put the person at the center of every equation. The Latin American Congress of Neuroarchitecture that we created from Córdoba to all of Latin America was declared of Provincial Interest in the Legislature of the Province of Córdoba, Argentina. Architects and designers cannot do this alone, which is why we are accompanied by doctors, scientists, neuroscientists, psychologists, researchers and specialists in different topics that allow us to understand the needs of people, not only functional but also emotional and cognitive. We are proud to be able to add our grain of sand to "wake up" to this need to generate a better quality of life for all inhabitants. Thank you The Centre for Conscious Design (CCD) for allowing us to create this chapter and supporting us . . . . Córdoba siempre fue pionera por muchas cosas. Estando en el centro de nuestro país los cordobeses decimos que es el corazón del mismo. Y aquí comienza a latir este movimiento de comprender la responsabilidad que tenemos al diseñar los espacios que habitamos, nuestros entornos, nuestras ciudades. Hoy acompañamos desde nuestro lugar a esta gran ciudad con un movimiento de diseño consciente donde ponemos a la persona en el centro de toda ecuación. El Congreso Latinoamericano de Neuroarquitectura que creamos desde Córdoba hacia toda latinoamérica fue declarado de Interés Provincial en la Legislatura de la Provincia de Córdoba, Argentina. Esto no podemos hacerlo los arquitectos y diseñadores solos, por ello nos acompañan médicos, científicos, neurocientíficos, psicologos, investigadores y especialistas en diferentes temas que nos permiten comprender las necesidades de las personas no sólo funcionales sino emocionales y cognitivas. Nos llena de orgullo poder sumar nuestro granito de arena a "despertarnos" en esta necesidad de generar mejor calidad de vida para todos los habitantes.

Announcing the 2025 Conscious Cities Festival! We're excited to once again bring together designers, researchers, technologists, decision makers and local communities to explore the intricate relationship between the built environment and human flourishing. The global festival, to be held 21-25 March 2025 will unveil and explore the concept of “Regrounding” – the deliberate practice of reconnecting with time and place. How can we consciously design places that counter society’s rush into the digital and abstract? How can science inform the emergence of healthy environments for people, communities, and ecologies? Events focusing on three related themes will drive collective imagination, strengthen connections, and inspire collaborations. Read more about the themes in the festival page.
