📢 With only a few weeks to go, our colleague, Simon Brennan, will be taking part in a charity bike ride 🚴♂️ from Cambridge to Edinburgh in aid of raising funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK). Simon will be tackling this tough challenge of cycling more than 410 miles on a self-supported tour between the 6th and 9th September 2024. 🚨 Research suggests that 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime, but the pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has helped save millions of lives. 👏 Simon has raised over £1,000 for cancer research so far, if you'd like to support him and this important cause, follow this link to donate: https://lnkd.in/ef6XvuGH
Working with companies to improve operational efficiencies & maximise customer experience through digital engagement
This September (6th-9th), along with my brothers I will be fundraising on behalf of Cancer Research UK, by partaking in a self-funded Charity Bike ride from Cambridge to Edinburgh, totalling over 410 miles across 4 days. I think nearly all of us are aware of the stats that almost 1 in 2 of us will develop a form of cancer during our life! Many of us will have personal stories and heartache from those close to us who have been impacted by this awful disease. My personal motivation for this ride is that it's 10 years since we lost my younger brother Tony 'Bones' Brennan to Pancreatic Cancer aged only 36. This was followed by losing my father Jim Brennan to Oesophageal Cancer aged 69 at the start of last year, so anything I can do to help raise funds and awareness is a driver for me. What a fantastic few days in New Zealand. Great to be back in such a wonderful country . Really interesting conversations with organisations in financial services about regulatory change management in particular the preparation for CoFI. There is a real movement across the globe in consumer conduct and delivering on customer intent. 🤔 What is the #CoFI legislation? 👉 CoFI follows reviews from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) and the FMA which concluded #banks and #insurers lacked adequate systems and processes to ensure customers were treated fairly.
