🤝 Visa and Revolut partner to offer real-time cross-border transactions for businesses 💳 The payment card services provider Visa has signed a worldwide agreement with Revolut, the financial technology company and payments app, to launch Instant Card Transfers for Revolut Business customers. ⌚ Revolut Business customers now only require a card number for transactions, and payments arrive in the recipient’s account within 30 minutes. 🗣️ James Gibson, General Manager at Revolut Business, said, “We’re excited to launch Instant Card Transfers in the UK & EEA, providing businesses with a simple, instant, and secure way to pay employees, contractors, and customers globally by supporting major card schemes.” 📖 Read the news with the link in the comments! #instantpayments #Visa #revolut #technology

🤝 Comoros joins WTO: a milestone for global trade and fisheries 🐟 After 17 years of negotiating its ascension, Comoros has become the 165th member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) as of 21 August 2024. Comoros also accepted the WTO Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies, bringing the total number of acceptances to 82. 👉 This makes Comoros the 10th least-developed country (LDC) to accede through negotiations. The nation has committed to implementing WTO agreements across various sectors, such as Trade Facilitation, SPS, TBT, and TRIPS. 🛍️ In 11 services sectors and 107 sub-sectors, Comoros has undertaken commitments which generally involve providing market access and national treatment: some sectors will have no limitations on cross-border supply, consumption abroad, and commercial presence.
