We’ve launched a Telegram game! Why? At Triend, we’re passionate about the potential of blockchain to deliver a superior value proposition. However, we’ve always been cautious about the "degen" culture, hype, and airdropping that often come with it. As the saying goes, if you can’t beat them, join them. There has been a lot of excitement around Telegram over the past year, particularly with the integration of mini-apps and games. To us, this feels like the early days of a new story, one focused on Web3. We are particularly interested in creative marketing and cost-effective user acquisition opportunities. Our mission is to integrate rewards and value propositions that encourage users to follow us on social media, educate themselves, and understand what Triend has to offer. Players are rewarded not only for engaging with the game, which focuses on building trust in the crypto world, but also for sharing the message of Triend with others on the platform. Community is key to any Web3 project, so we hope our community enjoys our Web3 take on Flappy Birds. https://t.me/wen_worldbot

About 18 months ago, our team started work on what we at Triend call the "Proof of Review." We saw significant issues culminating around the trustworthiness of reviews and feedback and went down the rabbit hole of what the solution to this needed to be. Over the past year, the team have had conversations with various marketplaces, vendors, universities, and even the UK Department for Business and Trade about questions as abstract as what constitutes a review and how we can stop these bad actors. We have researched everything from AI to our main focus, which has been utilising blockchain technology. After speaking with major marketplaces and attending the Fake Review Coalition, our opinion is that LLMs (Large Language Models) work very well in understanding the patterns of fake reviews but not catching or putting a barrier into the authenticity as the consumer reviews. For this reason we are building the Proof of Review, Triend’s secret sauce that we’ve been building, which connects vital aspects of verifying reviews: Proof of Humanity and Proof of Location. A novel multi-layer verification system. Triend will enssure that only legitimate reviews from real people and real experiences are recorded immutably on-chain. This approach restores transparency, consolidates review data, and fortifies credibility—solving the core issues plaguing the industry today. Imagine verifying that Jenny is indeed Jenny and that she has been, or is, at the locations she is reviewing. Not a bot, not someone paid by an agency to boost reviews, but a genuine, verified review. With the growth of AI and recent regulations coming into place in the USA, the hunch that this would be a game-changer two years ago is really starting to come into play, especially with the FTC's most recent announcement. Triend believe's that with these new regulations, we are entering a new era of trust verification, and we couldn’t be more excited. Interesting Skift article here breaking it down for the travel space:
