Did you know…? Our continued partnership with FareShare UK has helped them to divert 91 tonnes of surplus food for redistribution! Fareshare has also reported 86 tonnes of embedded CO2 from going to waste as well as 202 million litres of water with the backing of its supporters. We are very proud of our partnership with Fareshare and the impact we are able to have both on our community, as well as the planet. #Sustainability #Weetabix #Fareshare

WEETAVAULT Swinging out of the Weetavault bowl today is this energetic Weetabix Banana commercial from 2014. In this fast-paced 20 second campaign we see a fun-loving active young boy who is obsessed with pretending to be a monkey, like his favourite toy. We see him swinging from his bunk bed, from the cross bar in a football match as a goal goes in, even climbing all over his dad as he tries to sit quietly as he completely embraces his 'monkey alter-ego'. The ad ends with a wholesome image of the father and son pair both in matching lounge wear at the breakfast table enjoying a bowl of Weetabix Banana, but with the son crouched on his chair like a monkey. Do you remember this brilliant Weetabix Banana moment? Tell us what else you'd like to see emerge from our Weetavault! #Weetavault #Weetabix #Banana

Last week, Sedgebrook Hall hosted our Weetabix Apprentice Team Building Day, bringing together our new, current, and completing apprentices.   The action-packed day was filled with engaging team building activities designed to encourage collaboration and communication.   The event also provided the ideal opportunity for our apprentices to connect with their peers across different stages of the apprenticeship journey.   Thank you to everyone who took part in making this such a fun and impactful day! #TeamBuilding #Apprenticeships

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our recent bake sale at Corby in aid of Northants Search and Rescue! A special shout out to Phoebe M. for organising the event, and to all of our colleagues from Corby and Burton Latimer who baked some delicious treats. The outpouring of generosity and enthusiasm really was felt by everyone who attended. With all of the donations from the sale, as well as our Corby General Manager, Paul Middlehurst, personally matching the proceeds, our grand total came to over £530! As a volunteer himself with Northamptonshire Search & Rescue, Paul knows more than anyone how much this donation will help the team... "I am absolutely blown away by the huge support and generosity we have seen at Weetabix’s Bake Sale. Donations like this make a massive difference in enabling us to continue to provide vital and life-saving services in our community – thank you so much to everyone who took part." Team Building Day! Recently, our New Product Development team paid a visit to Cambridge Regional College's Park Restaurant for a unique team building day... Split into teams, they competed to cook up delicious dishes and learn new skills both for, not just the kitchen at home, but transferrable ones for the workplace as they collaborated as a group to form their tasty creations. The day was completed with everyone coming together to enjoy the fruits of their labour and reflect back on their delicious day of strengthening bonds outside the office. A huge thank you to the team at Cambridge Regional College for their brilliant hospitality! #People #Weetabix #TeamBuilding

Congratulations to our Early Careers Achievers! This week at Weetabix we held our first Early Careers Achievements event to commemorate our team members who have completed apprenticeship qualifications. A massive round of applause for Evie Elliott, Connor Feakin and Caitlyn Francis all for receiving an award, handed out by our Manufacturing Director, Neil Chapman! Stuart Branch - MBA, Chartered FCIPD, Group People & Technology Director, said: "Wow! What a morning with the Weetabix Apprentices. Your presentations this morning were truly inspiring. Narratives of challenge, successes, education, learning and personal growth and development; all on top of the numerous pieces of work, examples of continuous improvement and some pretty significant and substantial projects which you have all contributed to”. Well done to all that presented and to Christine Bryanton for organising the event. #Weetabix #Apprenticeships
