ITV has commissioned a second series of the UK hit quiz format Jeopardy!, hosted by Stephen Fry and produced by Whisper North! 25 x 60min new episodes have been commissioned by ITV, which is an increase on series one. This follows the success of the first series which was produced by Whisper North, shown on ITV1 and ITVX earlier this year.    Series one went out as part of ITV’s daytime schedule in January 2024, launching with 2.5 million viewers and regularly attracting an average audience of over 1.6 million   Series two will be filmed in Salford at the end of September 2024 and is set to TX in 2025. Casting for contestants is due to start later this month.    Host Stephen Fry said: “Thrilled to be back at the Jeopardy! lectern for another series. Aside from the sheer entertainment value of the format, it’s especially wonderful to see contestants from all over the country revealing such wonderful, varied knowledge and quick wits."    “Thanks to ITV and to our audience. It was a huge privilege for all of us at Whisper - led by Pete Thomas Emma Sheldon - to be involved in delivering the very first Electronic Arts (EA) FC PRO World Championships - live from the incredible city of Berlin last week. ⭐ East Media’s successful daytime quiz show Riddiculous has been commissioned by ITV for an impressive third series! ⭐ The show will continue to be hosted by Ranvir Singh, with Henry Lewis as the Riddlemaster. The third series of the popular quiz show will feature 25 x 60’ episodes and filming will take place in Manchester in September. Just 44 days to go until the start of the 2024 Paris Paralympics, which we'll be producing for UK audiences with Channel 4. Last week, C4 announced an amazing presenter line up for the Games, which start next month on 28 August, until 8 September 2024.   For the first time, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Ellie Simmonds will be part of the C4 Paralympics presenting team, joined by Claire Balding, Ade Adepitan, Billy Monger, JJ Chalmers, Ed Jackson, Vick Hope, Josh Pugh and Lee McKenzie.    Capturing the mood and celebrations across the French capital, the on-site reporters will include content creator and comedian Fats Timbo, ex-rugby player and Gladiators’ ‘Fury’ Jodie Ounsley, Paralympic gold-medal swimmer Ellie Robinson, award-winning actor Lenny Rush, content creator Milly Pickles, wheelchair basketball player Gaz Choudhry, sports reporter Jordan Jarrett-Bryan and actor and star of Netflix’s Sex Education, George Robinson.
