This week, Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru, Wales’ publicly owned renewable energy company, was launched to secure Wales’ green future.   Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru aims to deliver clean energy projects across Wales and create social value for local communities. This month, WSP in the UK colleagues are participating in our first-ever UK-wide fundraiser for our charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support. "Pass the Torch" challenges colleagues to complete any 5km activity of their choice, donate £5, and nominate others to do the same, creating our very own ‘torch relay’ leading up to the Paris 2024 Olympics. 🏅 A special shoutout to our Deputy Commission Manager, Emma Sadiwskyj-Frewer, associate directors, Andy Winmill, and Graham Smith, Senior Project Manager, Emma Skipworth, Senior Engineer, Amy Taranis, Associate Consultant, Thomas Edwards, Project Controls Officer, Catherine Balsom, Graduate Engineer, Wangeci Karega and Undergraduate Engineer, David Scovell, who braved the rain and completed their 5k walk from the Bournemouth Borough Council Civic Centre, through Bournemouth Upper Gardens, to Coy Pond and back.
