Amanda joined us as an intern in July and it's been amazing having her on the team! 💻 She's a fantastic person and has helped support us on many different projects across all of our departments, it's been an absolute pleasure working with her. 🌻 💬 Here's a comment from Amanda about her time with us: "My time at Yes Futures has been incredibly rewarding, I have had the opportunity to witness firsthand the power of building Confidence, Resilience, Communication, and Self-awareness skills in young people, all within an inclusive and supporting environment. I have grown in my own understanding of what it means to make a positive impact." Thank you, Amanda! You've been amazing. ⭐

🌟 Designing an Intentional Life – The Coaching Journey 🌟 Excited to share my latest article with Yes Futures, delving into the transformative power of coaching. Coaching offers a safe haven for reflection, clarity, and personal growth, enabling us to align our actions with our fundamental values. In the piece, I emphasise the essence of intentional living, which revolves around consciously choosing actions that resonate with our beliefs and values. It's about delving deep into self-awareness to ensure our actions mirror this self-understanding. Yes Futures is committed to fostering young people's self-belief and uncovering their potential through a focus on confidence, resilience, communication, and self-awareness. 📣 Calling all fellow certified coaches! 📣 If your work is all about helping people build self-confidence and thrive, have you considered working with young people? Yes Futures is a multi-award-winning charity, run by experienced, qualified teachers. Their mantra is simple: 'Positive futures begin with self-belief'. Founded in 2012 by the brilliant Sarah Sewell, an 'outstanding' qualified teacher, the charity has supported over 2,400 young people across 66 schools through high-impact personal development programmes. I first met Sarah when I was on maternity leave with my second daughter, and the charity was in its infancy. Her ethos was an inspiration to me back then, and it radiates through everything they do. This year, I was lucky enough to volunteer as a coach on their 'Rising Futures' programme, working with young people (Year 8s) from Charters School, Sunningdale. With the structured support, expert guidance and formative 'Into the Wild' and 'World of Work' experiences that Yes Futures provides, we saw students make progress in key talent areas - confidence, communication, resilience, and self-awareness. Essential skills they'll need to thrive in the future, whatever they choose to do, be or become. If you're a qualified coach and you'd like to give back, consider supporting this fantastic charity with a few hours of your time - I promise you won't regret it. #CoachingInSchool #youthvolunteer #coaching #wellbeing #youth #nonprofit #charity

I've been working with Yes Futures for several years. Their aim, using coaches like me, is to empower young people to believe in themselves and discover their personal potential. We work on resilience, self awareness, communication and confidence. Their stats speak for themselves: - 95% of students improved in at least one Talent area. - 92% of students, including Pupil Premium and SEND, enhanced their essential skills. - 84% of students felt a positive change from the programme. - 80% of students became more future-ready. - 76% of students were more motivated to excel in school. How incredible would it be if all schools adopted this approach, using qualified coaches to spend time with those students that need that extra help. The results could be transformative. In a recent session, a student set a simple goal of speaking to 2 new people. The impact was profound - he found a new friendship group, leading to increased happiness and a sense of belonging at school. Small steps can create significant changes in students' lives. To all my friends who are coaches, especially at Animas Centre for Coaching, Please do consider committing to just a few hours over several months to support this amazing charity. #Education #YouthEmpowerment #Coaching #StudentSuccess
