We were honoured to welcome World YMCA President Soheila Hayek and YMCA England & Wales Vice President Peter Posner OBE to the YMCA Community & Activity Village in Newark. Their visit underscored the strong bond between global YMCA leadership and our local community. 🎉 We were delighted to officially open of our new Outdoor Strength and Conditioning Gym at the YMCA Community & Activity Village this afternoon. Students from the Lincoln College Air & Space Institute, who are training to become the next generation of aviation professionals, showcased how they use the facility as part of their fitness regimen. This event also serves as a moment to express our gratitude to the generous funding from FCC Communities Foundation Ltd whose contributions have made this fitness space possible. Furthermore, thanks were extended to IndigoFitness provider of the gym's equipment, for their essential contribution to this project.
