We're excited to be recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Officer to join our team in Barnet, London. At Young Barnet Foundation (YBF), we work with over 200 local charities, community groups, and social enterprises to support children, young people, and families across Barnet. We're looking for someone who can help us tell the story of our community, raise awareness of the vital work happening here, and enhance our digital and print presence. About the Role: This is a key role where you'll create engaging content, lead impactful marketing campaigns, manage our social media presence, and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners. You'll play a central part in building our brand and amplifying the voices of our community. What We're Looking For: A creative thinker with a strong talent for storytelling Someone with experience managing social media and developing engaging content Organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once A passion for supporting the voluntary sector and making real change Key Details: Part-Time: 28 hours per week Contract: 12 months fixed-term (with potential for extension) Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 (pro-rata) Location: Barnet, London Deadline: 5pm, Friday 27th September 2024 (we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis, so don’t wait!) At Young Barnet Foundation, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people in Barnet. For the past nine years, we have supported local charities and organisations by distributing over £1,889,649 through our Space2Grow fund. Our mission, "Creating Space to Grow," aims to provide safe spaces for children and young people to develop into resilient adults. We focus on offering a wide range of high-quality opportunities for learning, fun, and building strong relationships. Our goal is to improve health and well-being, promote youth leadership, and encourage social responsibility. By supporting community initiatives, volunteering, and local fundraising, we help build capacity within the voluntary sector.
