About

With over 14 years of experience in education across both the UK and Africa, including roles as Head of Department and School Administrator, I've dedicated my career to fostering inclusive learning environments. Holding a Qualified Teacher status, I've also specialised as a special education (SEN) teacher in alternative education settings. My academic journey includes a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) and a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education.

My current endeavours include pioneering a teacher training initiative, aimed at equipping educators with effective SEN teaching strategies for neurodiverse children. Currently conducted online, I am eager to expand this initiative by delivering in-person training sessions for educators and workshops for parents. These sessions will involve hands-on observations and implementation of strategies to cultivate inclusive learning environments. Most importantly my training sessions are delivered in a culturally sensitive manner as I am particularly interested in working in parts of the world that need it most.

I believe that face-to-face interactions and on-site support are essential for maximising the impact of such initiatives. By bridging the gap between research, policy and practice, we can ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
