My team provided proposals selling trenching and installation services to the open market and provided ongoing support to main contractor framework partners in their tenders.

I directly managed a team of up to five Proposals Leaders and Engineers and worked with an extended tender support network comprising all company departments as well as external consultants. The team produced in excess of 200 proposals per annum, ranging from vessel charters to large-scale installation and trenching projects. My role involved review and evaluation of technical solutions and assessment of commercial viability. The company underwent significant growth during the period that I was in this role.

My team and I liaised with all functions within the company to prepare tenders that offered customers technically and commercially attractive solutions to their requirements. We worked on bids from the Invitation to Tender stage through to contract signature and project-team handover. I had responsibility for pricing projects based on in-house and subcontracted equipment, and for obtaining approval from the Commercial, Financial and Managing Directors.
