As Head of school I manage a large team of FE and HE teachers within an ever changing educational landscape. My role is strategic and data focused whilst being operational and driven by the needs of the students. My strengths as a manager include a high level of emotional intelligence that allows me to recognise the needs of my team on a professional and individual level to ensure I support them to feel confident and competent within their role. I work hard to ensure that everyone feels included within the school of health and social care, early years and Access to HE and that they understand the impact their role has on the lives of the students. Solution focused, driven and passionate that students receive the highest learning experience in order to develop skills amd knowledge to support their progression to higher education and the world of work.
