Everyone is encouraged to mentor on the day and create their own mentoring activities, events and networking to pay tribute to mentoring received or given. Everyone from Individuals, Businesses, Schools, Communities, Colleges and Universities are encouraged to use the day to share their mentoring experiences, tips, and success stories.

The annual day attracts worldwide press and carries many high profile endorsements from Lord Young, leading MP's and celebrities. Promote your involvement and take part to support, or shine a light on your mentors or mentoring initiatives.

Use the day to thank your mentors or recruit and encourage others to become a mentor. You may decide to launch or create a new mentoring programme for National Mentoring Day and help showcase your organisations commitment to investing in people.

The National Mentoring Day website offers free marketing materials including a ‘Get Involved’ guide packed with 35 ideas on how to join in and create your own event or activity for National Mentoring Day, free social media graphics, posters and banners to share and printable ‘thank you’ cards to send to mentors who've made a difference.
