Outbound Sales Development Method Analysis
This project was initiated to challenge the well-practiced methods of outbound sales development in the Mid-Market team, and decide which method was most efficient and successful. It began with a list of 100 contacts each, and each group were reached out to through different processes. Three systems were used; traditional mail merge, eloqua e-mail marketing, and social selling. The 300 leads were given similar timelines as to compare directly, and the response and qualification rate were…
This project was initiated to challenge the well-practiced methods of outbound sales development in the Mid-Market team, and decide which method was most efficient and successful. It began with a list of 100 contacts each, and each group were reached out to through different processes. Three systems were used; traditional mail merge, eloqua e-mail marketing, and social selling. The 300 leads were given similar timelines as to compare directly, and the response and qualification rate were analysed. The result of the project was that although the mail merge had a quicker turnaround time and quite a high response rate, social selling produced more quality leads leading to higher revenue.
