About

My career has been dedicated to transforming how we understand and act as human beings towards Earth, the living system that sustains us. I work globally with leaders across sectors in education, communication and sustainability and believe the biggest impact we can have in making change is how we, as a global community, shape the mind-set of our children.

In 2023, I was honoured with the Population Matters Change Champion Award alongside leaders such as David Attenborough and Malala Yusafzai. My children's book, ‘Bright New World, Building a Better Planet,’ garnered critical acclaim, selected among the best new children's books by The Guardian and hailed as "outstanding" by New Scientist. It has been adopted by the Australian National Curriculum. I'm the founder of Planetari, pioneering Earth-led education, which earned a Climate Positive Award at UN COP28. Previously MD of Blue Marine Foundation and CEO of Cambridge Science Centre, I am an Associate Fellow of University of Cambridge, Homerton College, guest faculty at Homerton Change Makers programme. I serve on the Steering Committee of She Changes Climate, was named a Shero for Black History Month 2023 by Environment Magazine and is currently writing a book on colonisation and climate change.

I have an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice and have the good fortune to be represented by the wonderful Marianne Gunn O'Connor at Marianne Gunn O'Connor Agency.

Planetari sets out a new vision for education, founded in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, all children to understand our planet as a living system and to have the capacity for creativity and innovation to be able to live successfully here.
