    Top Secret Atomic Vetting - AWE Aldermaston I worked on criticality calculations on the supercomputer and I used a Solaris workstation to write programs and 3D visual analysis of criticality. I wrote a research dissertation and persaonl research project on the history of the atomic bomb.

    1 year course where I specialised in Physics from KS3-KS5, teaching at two placement schools. Burleigh College in Loughborough (14-19) then Crown Hills (11-16) - Leicester mainly an Hindu/ Muslim school in the city centre. During that time I taught a whole range of pupils including a class of 23 AS Pupils their whole unit of work for the November modular exam. I also started to write my own website content at this point in HTML.

I have to balance decisions from two other magistrates, run a busy court room with a variety of issues and take views from all parties. However, unlike most other Zombie books this one has some Science reality about it as it is written by a Science teacher. All the Science involved has proper links and could happen.     Printed the material covers 88 A4 pages, 13,000 words and many graphics and screen captures from teachers notes. It is an amazing culmination of all the experience of a Physics teacher of 12 years teaching…

    There are three main topics which relate to the exam board texts so it is easy to follow and written by a Physics teacher of 12 years AS Level teaching experience. This is what I use with my own students and it works!

    I have obtained a grant from the IOP to buy an FLIR Camera which I am using to investigate IR Physics. The current plan is to record many FLIR videos of normal experiments. Also Y8 will be working on an Energy Saving Project looking at the whole school and our energy losses.
