As RNIB’s Chief Operating Officer I am accountable for leading all customer facing activities and responsible for continuously improving customer service quality regardless of channel or touchpoint. This includes increasing the reach of the sight loss pathway and the UK-wide Sight Loss Advice Service to reach all blind and partially sighted people, proactively managing and growing RNIB’s consumer and commercial propositions and to lead on RNIB’s strategic stakeholder relationships. At the heart of the role is the desire to bring about positive change for blind and partially sighted people by ensuring the implementation of the RNIB Strategy and in particular working with businesses to develop innovative solutions that make content, products, services and environments useable and accessible for blind and partially sighted people.
