Distinguished Service Cross

Included Gulf War 1 (1991), full engagement in operational roles from Peace, through Transition to War, to War including conduct of anti-smuggling embargo operations, and intensive combat operations. Developed and implemented a novel co-operative tactic for joint Lynx-SH60B capacities. Accredited with the destruction of five enemy combat ships, and contributing to two further successful actions.

Successful delivery of UK obligations in NATO mine countermeasure squadron, including two major NATO exercises.
