Working from Clyde's 2 New Bailey office, I am a Partner and lead lawyer in the National Catastrophic Injury Group.
I act solely for defendants, dealing with a broad spectrum of large loss personal injury claims arising from EL, PL, and RTA risks which can involve complex liability and policy coverage issues, brain and spinal injury, amputations, serious orthopaedic injuries and chronic pain.
I head our Sports Practice Group and am responsible for coordinating Sports Law offering across insurance, claims, risk and regulatory. I am the appointed panel solicitor for liability claims involving the UK governing bodies of two and four wheeled motorsport and the appointed solicitor for other national sporting and recreational associations.
I provide training and regularly present seminars to insurers and corporate customers on topics including claims defensibility, risk management and litigation updates
The highlight of my career (so far) was handling the litigation in Summers v Fairclough Homes through to the Supreme Court.
