Riyadh Metro Project (Moving Riyadh Forward)
The Metro System:
At 177Km of Metro network comprising of six automated lines and 92 transit stations, it will be the backbone of a transportation network for the capital city. This will incorporate subway tunnels, elevated sections, and at grade sections using the latest technologies, design-build methodology, and world-class turn-key organizations. The system will have all the safety and comfort features of a modern automated metro.
The ADA has approved a SR100 billion budget…The Metro System:
At 177Km of Metro network comprising of six automated lines and 92 transit stations, it will be the backbone of a transportation network for the capital city. This will incorporate subway tunnels, elevated sections, and at grade sections using the latest technologies, design-build methodology, and world-class turn-key organizations. The system will have all the safety and comfort features of a modern automated metro.
The ADA has approved a SR100 billion budget for a rail network to be developed in the city within five years. The project is arranged into three packages and is going into construction simultaneously.
