Supporting Stagetext with communications delivery and strategy. I have worked with them for the last six years, helping to deliver marketing, PR and events for their annual campaign, Captioning Awareness Week. I have also supported the organisation with brand and identity developement. In 2021 I managed a UK tour of their exhibition, Captions Speak Louder, a history of open captioning in the UK. The exhibition visited ten arts and cultural venues in England and Scotland.

I run an event management service, helping clients to take the pressure out of planning their special day, be it a birthday party, a wedding or a business event. I am creative, with a keen eye for detail and years of experience managing events.

Day one consisted of an intimate ceremony in an heritage property in Blackheath, followed by a bespoke dinner at the couple’s favourite restaurant. Project managing the theatre company's move back into their new bespoke building. Coordinating between the developers and suppliers to ensure that the move went smoothly and the building was up and running on move day. Among other responsibilities, I managed the administration needed for the new address and respective contracts linked to it. I also worked with the IT company to install a brand new bespoke phone and IT infrastructure.

Supporting Stagetexts programme of talks and events, which allow access to people who are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing to the arts. I coordinated between the venues and the typists who create speech to type text either onsite or remotely. Events included museum tours, lectures and managing a last minute political event at the Southbank Centre. A freelance post managing the logistics and publicity for Theatre Peckham's temporary move to new premises. Responsibilities included sourcing and coordinating a contractor for their IT support and liaising with the property developers. I also managed the publicity and marketing, pushing messages out about the move.

I produced a comprehensive change management communication strategy, in order to manage the rename and re-brand of YMCA London to Evolve. I also produced a review of existing communication channels, identifying gaps. As part of the re-brand process I organised an extensive range of stakeholder workshops, working with the design agency on content and delivery.

A Freelance post within a consultancy, focused on improving marketing and fundraising effectiveness for charities through innovation programmes and people development.

Delivering Croydon Council's Love Croydon campaign. An awareness raising campaign, delivered in post riot Croydon. IT was created to dispel myths about crime and promoted the reasons why locals love Croydon.

Responsible for the delivery of all the Safer Croydon Partnership's communications, including proactive and reactive media. I produced innovative and integrated communications, on issues of crime and disorder and in response to residents' fear of crime or negative media coverage. This was a seconded post from Southwark Council.
