Our program offers both in-person and virtual seminars tailored for parents, teachers, and students. The parent/teacher seminars consist of a one-hour training course designed to help participants recognize the early warning signs of eating disorders. Participants will learn how to identify if someone is struggling with an eating disorder and how they can offer support. The course delves into various eating disorders, exploring their signs, symptoms, and side effects. It also focuses on understanding the impact these disorders can have. Upon completion, attendees receive a certificate acknowledging their understanding of eating disorder signs and training which can be put into their staff portfolio.

For students, we conduct a comprehensive six-week workshop. This workshop is designed to provide students with tools and worksheets that support recovery from eating disorders. Each week covers a different topic, such as self-esteem, anxiety, social media influence, peer pressure, and body image, among other subjects crucially linked to eating disorders. This interactive workshop aims to assist students in their recovery journey and offers continued support even after the workshop concludes. These are all individually programmed and each student gets their own support package to use during the workshop and to keep for after the course finishes too. We continue to work with pastoral care to make sure the students are well supported throughout.

Each seminar and workshop is uniquely tailored and led by experienced professionals who are not only qualified but also have personal recovery experience from eating disorders. Their lived experience adds a valuable perspective to the program.
