An editor with just under two years' experience within the publishing industry, I'm a confident and capable writer, as well as being comfortable and practiced in commissioning work, and building strong working relationships with writers and PR agencies.
I take pride in thinking creatively and outside of the box with work projects, having taken the magazine that I edit into new stylistic and content directions. Working with designers to create bold, eye-catching cover designs and writing engaging headlines have become elements of my role that I have excelled at in particular.
Hard skills include all written editing-based software, including Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat, as well as Microsoft products. I am also well-versed in CMS usage, email marketing platforms (namely Moosend) and handling social media accounts in order to grow a brand and message.

My three years studying English Literature were fantastic for so many reasons. I loved continuing my study of English Literature, which I had wanted to do for many years and was able to meet so many great people. The degree has really allowed me to understand narrative techniques, themes and stylistic features of writing far more deeply and has strengthened my love of good storytelling.
