How can you learn about new trends and best practices through your professional network?
There are many great examples here and I will delve into just oneā¦ Following thought leaders, influencers or experts on social media. Social media means that you donāt need to personally know the people in your professional sphere to access their thoughts (though it is advisable to reach out and build a relationship). Dependent on the responsiveness of a given algorithm (TikTokās appears to be particularly responsive) - you can seek diverse sources of information through purposefully following a range of voices. Through LinkedIn, the increasing amount of content creators means that you can opt to follow as opposed to connecting which means that should you desire it, you can have a powerful feed of varied voices to enrich your learning.
