I carried out 10 weeks unpaid work experience each Saturday. My duties included shadowing a key member of staff, observing their day-to-day work, learning customer service, listening to customer needs and understanding company best practice when responding. I also assisted in reorganising the shop display and categorising clothes and books. I also gained knowledge of key health and safety standards used within retail, as well as excellent customer service skills.

I hosted Radio Verulam for an evening along with four other people. I did a chat show on anti-bullying and phone safety. I also played the music and interviewed the Head Teacher of Sandringham School finding out about the anti-bullying policy they have at the local secondary school.
