  • The Happy Worker: how to find a job you love and love the job you have

The must-read book for anyone who is unhappy in their job and wants to change that.

With one in three workers significantly unhappy at work, according to international studies, and bad work situations often contributing to depression, I decided to take action and put my own work experience to good use.

The must-read book for anyone who is unhappy in their job and wants to change that.

With one in three workers significantly unhappy at work, according to international studies, and bad work situations often contributing to depression, I decided to take action and put my own work experience to good use.

Happiness is too often ignored and viewed as a luxury by bosses as well as employees, I have found from experience. But the fact is, it makes absolute business sense to focus on this, as happy workers are more productive, more pro-active, and more likely to help others.

I see a lot of people who are unhappy at work. My experience has been in helping them improve their situation. Many people don’t know where to start or feel trapped because they have a mortgage to pay and a family to care for, but small changes can make a big difference.

The Happy Worker has lots of practical step-by-step guides on everything from how to find out what it is you really want to do, to writing a good CV and developing skills for dealing with difficult colleagues and bosses.

I believe passionately that everyone deserves to be happy at work. Because when you are, this has an impact not only on you, but on everyone around you.

People who feel happy in the right job are also going to be much more successful - and that is certainly not a luxury.

The Happy Worker is available on Amazon and on the website www.thehappyworker.co.uk
