I'm an audio software researcher and developer with over 15 years experience building robust, highly usable applications, libraries and plugins.

As a generalist I’m comfortable with UI, DSP, audio analysis and machine learning. I take a pride in shipping products that delight users.

My main language is C++, but I also speak C, python and human!

I am the sole developer of the Noiiz Plugin, the first cloud connected plugin for auditioning online samples in key and in tempo with a DAW track. The plugin now has over 2000 active users and was praised as "The Future Of Sample Browsing" by Music Tech magazine. I also engineered Noiiz's "Find Similar Sound" feature, a web micro-service that enables over 200k sounds to be searched by audio similarity.

I led the development of Integra Live, an interactive audio processing environment with over 30,000 downloads. Integra Live is now used worldwide.

I am sole author of LibXtract, a C library for audio analysis and feature extraction used in a range of projects from interactive arts to sound recognition.

I am also the developer of ml-lib, a library of machine learning objects for Max and Pure Data.

I have worked as a consultant to various companies, developing audio and music-based applications for mobile platforms including LiveShout, an audio streaming app for iOS.

As a researcher I have used Unity 3D and 3Dception alongside a Kinect interface to develop systems that enable sounds to be positioned in and moved within a 3D space through hand gestures and grasp.

My goal is to develop technologies that transform the way we interact with sound.
