I worked directly with core team that includes Talent and Learning leads to develop holistic people plans designed to support delivery of business objectives. I worked in direct partnership with HR leaders of GSK’s global business areas, including Vaccines and Global Pharma Commercial businesses. Much of my work focused on building culture in alignment with our overall GSK culture. This included leading global change programs, providing OD leadership on major organisational re-designs, leading efforts to define organisational capabilities required to deliver business objectives and working directly with teams and leaders to build their change leadership capability. Some notable projects and work include:

- Designing and deploying an agile change approach and plan to support a fundamental change to our global Pharma Commercial operating model.
- Leading development of the overall Culture Plan for our Global Pharma Commercial business.
- Providing holistic OD leadership for two significant reorganisations in our Global Pharma Commercial business.
- Leading efforts to define organisational capabilities for GSK's growing Oncology business. Show less

I 'volunteered' inside GSK for 8 years as an inclusion leader. Below is a summary of that work. During this time, I I also was an invited speaker externally and mentored external employee networks and leaders.

2014 - 2019: Leader in GSK's LGBT+ employee resource group, Spectrum
Starting in 2014, I was part of the UK and Global Leadership of our LGBT+ employee network, acting as the sole UK Lead 2016-2017. Under my leadership, GSK first appeared in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index Top 100 as #21. In 2017, I was recognised as a FT OUTstanding LGBT Future Leader as #33 on that year's list and again in 2019 as #24. Inside GSK, I was a mentor to emerging LGBT+ leaders globally.

2017 - present: I helped found and was one of the Operations Co-Leads for the Proud Science Alliance, a 'network of networks', bringing together LGBT+ employee networks from science and health-care based companies to do more together to improve LGBT+ inclusion in our industry.

2017-2018: I served as member of GSK's Global LGBT+ Council representing our LGBT+ employee network.

2013-2015: I was a member of the Pharma R&D Inclusion Council, providing direct support to the Council chair. I worked on various projects and work streams, focused on making our Pharma R&D organisation more inclusive. Show less

This was a secondment role working across a few organisations and projects. In the latter stages, I provided project management support for a global Emerging Markets pharmaceuticals commercial organisation project, working directly with the Project Director and other leaders to successfully plan and implement the project. I lead efforts to organise the project team and provide overall operations management of the project. In addition, I provided direct support to the Africa and Developing Countries Area Leadership Team and to regular, area-wide performance reviews.

After a successful project assignment with GSK Global Health Programmes in 2015 focused on programme-level business performance, I completed a formal secondment with the team and the Africa and Developing Countries business unit in 2016. I consulted on business performance across the Global Health Programmes team and projects, leading efforts to put in place a performance framework for the team. In addition, I was accountable for business performance (dashboards, reporting, etc.) for the Africa & Developing Countries commercial organisation. This included accountability for project managing GSK's Africa 2020 strategic investment programme. I evolved and simplified the comprehensive set of performance dashboards at the area level and provided business performance consultation to leaders within Area markets.
