About

Jemma is a hardworking ambassador and advocate for mental health, equality and diversity.
Having had problems with being cast aside in both Primary and Secondary establishments due to wanting to study and not socialise as much with her peers, this was a choice that she made early on which opened her up to receiving bullying and harassment from other students, sometimes teachers.
Jemma was also sexually abused by a close family friend, while her father remained critically ill and later died in hospital.
Jemma rose above all of the animosity and came out of the other side to go to college and study computer science, however she was the only girl on the course in both colleges that she ended up attending, following this she then went on to study at University things were no better there, but she stuck it out for two years and is now pursuing the route she was always meant to take, Performing Arts.
Jemma is also a trained Life Coach helping others overcome similar obstacles to the ones that she had to overcome throughout her life, she is also an advocate for Mental Health after suffering badly with anxiety and depression after her father passed away and she was assaulted.
There is also a Podcast and Blog that Jemma has also set up to raise awareness to certain Mental Health conditions that people suffer with and she invites guests on to talk about their past with Mental Health, to give them a platform to have their voices heard all over the world, no matter gender, race or religion she believes everyone has a story to tell and everyone should be given the opportunity to tell it.
Jemma is also an ambassador for feminism after going through sexism at one of the colleges that she attended and also on many applications for work afterwards. Jemma believes that workplaces shouldn’t be able to discriminate based on gender, religion or sexuality. Whether someone is offered a job or not should purely be based on if they are capable of doing the job to the best of their abilities with the qualifications they have.
