Jesse Wilson

Each year the Business School makes a small number of School Commendations to those students whose academic performance was excellent and/or who made a significant contribution to the life of the School though engagement with SSLCs. The School Commendation is therefore the Business School’s way of recognising sustained commitment at Exeter. Commendations are used across the world to signify that the holder has performed beyond normal expectations.

This is awarded to a member who has given outstanding service and commitment to a club. This may be in an administrative or leadership role. This may also be awarded for playing service, dedication and loyalty to a club. I received this award for two consecutive years as 1st XI Football captain.

Selected as the Team Captain of the Year out of 100+ team captains from all the Athletic Union clubs. Selection is based on dedication to the club, leadership ability, proactivity towards club development and athletic performance.

• Tasked to create innovative solutions to improve the sales of draught beer in a ‘night out’ setting through product development or via social media platforms
• Submitted my idea online and was selected as one of six finalists to attend an innovation workshop with Heineken experts to develop my idea both commercially and technically
