I advise on engineering and construction, contracts and help clients resolve disputes by giving clear, concise, commercial advice that is focused on getting them the results they need. I tell clients exactly where they stand and do not try to confuse them with legalese.

I work with clients to provide contract and risk management training to their site and commercial teams. I also carry out contract audits for clients to help manage risk and identify issues early to help clients deliver projects on time and on budget - and avoiding expensive disputes.

I pro-actively manage potential problems for clients, developing a strategy to achieve the best outcome, fighting their corner and working as part of their team.

I have experience of adjudication, arbitration (domestic and international), litigation and mediation. I am also a CMC registered mediator. However, most disputes do not require a formal dispute resolution process. I firmly believe that instructing a lawyer should not feel like a fast track to being stuck in an expensive, time consuming dispute process. Lawyers need to give solutions not long winded and expensive advice.

I act for developers, contractors, sub-contractors, banks, manufacturers, utility companies, infrastructure owners, insurance companies, professionals, insurers, retailers, local and government authorities and PFI/PPP SPVs/investors.
