About

Do I have a vested interest in diversity and inclusion in the workplace?

Of course I do, but I believe we all should. Not only because it means we’re making the experience of living in this world a better one for everyone, but because it’s great for business too.

So, I spend my time learning about how to improve inclusion in the workplace, and engaging in conversations that move us closer in that direction. Let’s connect and learn from each other.

Currently working for tech-for-good company Culture Shift. We’re in the business of bettering corporate & educational cultures using technology & good advice.

I had direct responsibility for the activity of over 1000 undergraduate & postgraduate students, from sporting events, society showcases, large scale events including annual balls and academic conferences.

With an annual cashflow of approximately £130,000, stringent financial management was essential to ensure the legitimate use of student money.

I represented student interest on numerous committees with members of the university and other interested bodies, boosting my stakeholder management capabilities and professionalism at these levels.

In my role I restructured our strategy and 5 year plan, refurbished our college bar turning a loss-making business into one of financial viability, and injected creativity into the representative team to enrich student experience.
