Administration of Research Degree programmes (e.g. Masters by Research, Guest Researchers); Upgrade process (deadline monitoring and form processing); supporting line manager with the administration of non-standard programmes (e.g. record set-up, enrolment chasing).

Promoting and delivering peer writing support at the Writing Café and at scheduled CeDAS drop-ins; liaising closely with CeDAS to ensure that the aims of the Writing Café and any other forms of peer writing support are met; effective promotion of the Writing Café, implementing logistical arrangements for the Café sites to ensure they are fit for purpose and maintaining record-keeping (including attendance tracking) and student feedback mechanisms.

Providing one student with academic supervision (e.g. research guidance, research feedback); maintaining regular e-mail contact with the student and with the student's Personal Tutor in CeDAS; marking the final project and agreeing on the final mark with the Personal Tutor and the second marker.

Assisting Student Administration with ID checks at the start of the academic year (2014-2015; 2015-2016; 2016-2017); providing information about the procedure to students waiting to do ID checks; ensuring that the process of ID check runs smoothly (e.g. managing queues, distribution of students' IDs to Student Administration workers).

Assisting with the organisation of the ‘Musicians, publishers, pirates of the mid Baroque’ Study Day in the British Library (June 2016).

Helping students with disabilities understand what their responsibilities are (e.g. provide them with help understanding their workload, clarify when to approach their academic department); taking notes for a disabled student; providing library help for a disabled student; liaising with the DDS and keeping them informed about the progress of a disabled student.

Supporting the Exam Venue Supervisor and following any instruction given by them (e.g. assisting them to set up/collect the exam scripts; escorting students outside the venue; assisting with student inquiries during the exam); supporting the Exam Venue Supervisor in order to maintain exam venue conditions; being alert to possible exam offences.

Assisting the main library team in any duties available (e.g. shelf-disciplining, tidying and re-shelving the main collection).
