I was a co-opted governor for one year before moving out of the area. I worked closely with the Headteacher, parents, and local county and parish council to improve parking and road safety outside the school. I also worked with the Headteacher and other staff to ensure that the school was doing everything possible to be inclusive and promote equality.

My role as a Change Consultant within the AI People Function (HR) was to identify ways to simplify both policies, procedures and customer experience ensuring I lived the Aviva values and promoted a culture of inclusion and equality.
