“Maria joined the President's Ambassadors scheme in 2018 and has shown unfaltering enthusiasm to be involved with events as a representative of the College. She continues to lead many campus tours for the public, private tours for visiting schools and has helped with an event for primary school children, making their visit to Imperial a memorable one during the Christmas Lectures. As a part of the scheme, Maria took part in the International Counsellors' Conference, networking with international school counsellors from all over the world where she received very positive feedback from the delegates. She has also ventured off campus to deliver STEM presentations to pass on her enthusiasm for her work as part of her Chemical Engineering course to the young minds at St Augustine’s High School in London among others. Maria is a natural leader, a confident public speaker and an asset to any team.”
