Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Mark is responsible for the management of people and all business and broking related activity in the UIB Non Marine Division.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Mark is responsible for the management of people and all business and broking related activity in the UIB Non Marine Division.

The Non Marine Division deals with all Property, Power Generation and Mining related insurances as well as Terrorism, Political Violence, Kidnap & Ransom, Casualty, General Liability, Professional Indemnity and Cyber insurance.

Mark is responsible for the management of 24 people in the Non Marine Division.

Duties include budget planning and control, achieving the performance target of the Division, supervision of all aspects of broking operations, developing and maintaining market relationships, development of new business, ensuring the excellent service of existing business and compliance and corporate governance.

The UIB Non Marine Division works on accounts throughout the world and is not restricted from working anywhere. Show less

Mark started his career 20 years ago working for a major international brokers such as Sedgwick Energy and Willis on upstream and downstream energy accounts worldwide, handling all types of operation, construction and liability insurance.

Since 1996 Mark has specialised in property and energy insurance working with global companies.

Mark also works on power generation accounts, both traditional forms such as oil, gas and coal fired power stations as well as renewable sources such as hydro, wind and solar.

Mark has worked with clients from all over the world and has a wealth of experience dealing with the different political, cultural and ideological issues that working in each different country can pose.

Mark’s role is Divisional Director of Property, Power and Mining and he is responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the division. Show less
