Here's how you can connect and establish relationships with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Be curious. Ask questions, learn about people. It's not all about what you know, but what you can learn from others. You may not even agree with everyone, however giving people "a good listening to" will help hone your view of the world. Even the negative people can add value. When someone says "that was rubbish". Ask "compared to what?" You'll learn how their opinion has been formed. Be kind, be curious, listen.
