About Me
When people ask me what inspired me to start CASSU Career Advisory Services, my simple answer each time is “I am passionate about self improvement, whether it’s for children or adults, and I am passionate about sharing information that I believe brings value to people's lives”.

This means working with students, parents, schools, community and industry that can contribute to the achievement of this goal.

I vividly remember when I was trying to choose my elective subjects for my “O” Level and “A” Level exams. I also vividly remember years later, as a mother trying to help my daughter go through the same processes at her GCSE, A Levels and university majors. They were no easy tasks. I wish I had access to all the help and information available now, at the time..

I can imagine what parents of secondary school children are going through now or about to go through.

My main focus is working with students to help them understand their interest, strengths, values, talents, their thoughts and emotions and the options open to them now and in the future, in a positive, nurturing and constructive way that make them realise their capabilities and dreams.

My aim is to empower students and their parents in Ghana with the knowledge, guidance and support they need for personal growth, high academic performance and career prospects.

Why Ghana? I am a strong believer in giving back to society. Hearing the experiences, common pains, concerns and fears of parents, students, friends, colleagues and schools in Ghana, I thought, there is no better place to continue with my mission than Ghana, where I grew up.

My background and experience in mentoring, performance coaching, value & strategic planning, career planning and entrepreneurship, spanning over 40 years in the UK, have prepared me and given me various opportunities to do voluntary and paid work with secondary school students both in the U.K. and Ghana.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the children and the impact my contribution had on some of the students, and the gratitude of their parents, spurred me on to do what I like doing best and enjoy - helping others make better lives for themselves, especially children.

I had the privilege of being one of the mentors of “The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Challenge”, the annual secondary school competition held in the UK.

My goal is to bring out the full potential of each student my team and I get the opportunity to work with.
