How can you use content marketing to build a loyal following?
We are overloaded with information and inputs. Thus, short and sharp insights that can cut through the noise and help navigate an audience's attention to content they might find genuinely useful, creates value and earns a following. Consistency is key: both in terms of frequency of posts (out of sight, out of mind) but also relevance. We have all see 'experts' and celebrities berated when they sway 'off topic' and come out of their lane. Hence some folks have two X accounts - one for posting work-related content and another private account for moaning that their bins weren't collected :).

How can you stay focused and calm in a business strategy interview?
Preparation is important but you can't prepare for every question / scenario in advance and reel off perfectly scripted answers, even if you have a photographic memory. It's important to be able to develop a framework so you can respond thoughfully when you're thrown a curve-ball. I find contemplating what those difficult questions may be and covering uncomfortable topics in advance, helpful. Getting fresh eyes and outside perspectives from those with unbiased views of the content is useful. Others find (multiple) rehearsals and/or drafting detailed memos useful too. I also agree with Carl Davies about the dangers of throwing around terminology and buzz words or even name-dropping, unless you can back it all up. Prepare to be challenged!

You're starting a consulting business. What tools should you use to create a winning business strategy?
I was taught SWOT analysis at a young age at school and today it remains the first place I start when assessing a new problem. What are my strengths, where do I need help, what's the prize and what could detail my plans. I find it a useful framework to revisit from time-to-time too.
