How would you address a situation where developers prioritize functionality over user experience?
Sadly, the best answer may be to fire them. I used to find that making every developer spend at least an hour a month on user support calls was quite helpful. Most bad UX design is because they never consider themselves in the user's position.

What a long way it has come! I remember CSR BC01 transmitting thorough a sheet of paper in 2000! Now it is ubiquitous and chasing new applications :)
