This was is a lengthy & important process, that forms the foundation of a successful and sustainable people based enterprises. .Which included administrative training and feedback.

A conversation with one nearby resident, sweeping leaves and describing a couple of unresolved neighborhood problems, helped to form the catalyst, for a more formal and regular two way problem resolution/information flow, between our group and Public Agencies.
We now have more than a dozen households involved.
Far from being discouraged by our Community Action, Two of the Public Agencies are now actively working with us, sharing outcomes and including us in future planning.

Since physically moving to Scotland and currently having an addition being built onto our new home, I have, of necessity scaled back my activities during this period.
I plan to resume donating my time and attention to this worthwhile organisation, once the home renovations are completed., (when I hope to volunteer with both organisations in further diverting and reducing Violence, especially with young people. )
My husband shares these ambitions and has enjoyed working with at risk… Show more

My primary roles involved...providing a supportive and stable environment for young people needing Learning Support.
I further assisted them in communicating, via Reading, writing, understanding and verbal expression within the National Government Examination Guidelines

I received my initial U.K. Political Candidate Screening training in Cornwall during 1998 and received updated training in the North West of England during 2004 and 2007.
During that time I was also selected as a Political candidate myself, but subsequently declined the nominations from two Political parties. While, I continued to assist and advise in campaigns, in addition to remaining on candidate selection screening panels.

This promising innovative Police and Community Partnership was intended to improve Public Confidence and Cooperative working with the Police and enhance Community Safety.

Designed and presented a youth relationship violence prevention and intervention program in area high schools on short term contract

Researched implementation and long term outcomes of International Harm reduction programs and provided data and contacts to Premiers office, prior to the introduction of a Harm reduction facility in Vancouver's down-town current location.

This report helped to gather and correlate, in an organised format, a Public Consensus of Opinion during a period that was perceived as a Fiscal Crisis.
It was at this point at a Provincial Crossroad, that information and ideas were gathered and generated via Public Meetings.

Career break taken.
Renovating,establishing and operating a Guest house on the Coast of Western Cornwall, near England.
Time period spent....Walking, Listening to local people, Exploring the history of Cornish Lives and Mining, Entertaining , baking, providing hospitality and area information for guests, from across the world.
Writing and publishing short story on the experience.
Published title, "NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR THE CURSE." (Dallas, Texas, publishing house.)

In partnership with Dr. Gilliland, I co-wrote and presented a Emergency Services Stress Reduction and debriefing Manual. Several workshops focusing on Stress awareness, reduction and debriefing techniques were presented to Vancouver and Lower Mainland Fire, Ambulance, Search and Rescue and Police Departments during the period 1992 through 1995

I was the part time, managing director, together with two directors, of a made to measure lingerie company, which supplied Canadian and American customers with European made garments to their individual specifications, sizes and choices of fabric. The company was disbanded in 1992, despite increasing demand for the products, because of unexpected supply disruption issues, beyond our control..

Project Management, Volunteer training, Mentoring and supervision. Developing protocols. Time management. Report writing, Health and Safety in the workplace. Presenting workshops on current issues.

I was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of a Medium size, multi service Community Non Profit Association. Share Community Services operated a Crisis Line, managed and provided affordable Housing, operated a Food Bank and provided several types of Counselling and other Family Services.
I served as one of SHARE'S Directors for two years and regularly attended Board meetings, serving on advisory Committees as needed.

Added and enhanced existing paramedical continuing education credits and obtained California Nursing Certification.

Served on a designated number of P.O.S.T. Training Panels that were formed to deliver training on techniques, timing and recommended procedures for interviewing victims and witnesses of extreme traumatic impact crime,
Focus - Timing, selection, interviewing and facial recognition best evidence outcomes.

Course was delivered to small groups of investigators at varied California locations.
