The way products are designed and created influence the way we go around our days. So do the interfaces, feedback and interactions products we use influence the way we communicate. Can it as well influence the way we build intimacy with others and the well-being of our relationships?
That is what I wish to understand and design for with my PhD.

Design for Interaction programme has allowed me to understand the way the user and product relates, and the hidden interactions and the parameters that influence the behaviour of the user. It surpasses the view of the user to a human, from the target group to an individual, with his/her own intricate needs which are only possible to be understood after a deep analysis and understanding of the behaviour.

I was in charge of organising two activities:

    ▪️ REACHING WIDER AUDIENCES
Seminar aimed to educate doctoral researchers how to communicate thei research through wider audiences by utilising social media tools. The seminar included a presentation from Ines Marques Ribeiro, a communication specialist to the Ministry of Defense of Portugal, and has provided attendees with a communication tookit designed specially for the workshop by @drofwhat

    ▪️ THE AFTER PHD JOURNEY
Workshop was an interactive game that aimed to engage participants to explore different opportunities for their future after their PhD. For this workshop, I have designed a game along and have provided participants with personas, visuals, stickers, and questions to support discussion and facilitate the activity. Through this game, the participants came out with an understanding of how to strategically plan career steps and what are some of the most important elements in achieving their goals(such as different sources and outlets of research communication, networking, and planning ) which they can later apply to their personal career goals. Furthermore, by working with others and analysing scenarios, types of PhDs and career interests (e.g. academic vs industry), they received insights into different career opportunities they can take in their future. This workshop allows for an insightful and interactive understanding of how research works in other parts of the world and provides indirect sources for networking.

As an abortion doula for Hrabre sestre, I have educated abortion doulas in Croatia on how to provide creative support to those who will go/are undergoing/ have undergone abortion. I am organising events to provide support to people with abortion in creative ways - through guided meditation events, painting sessions and creative writing sessions. These creative interventions are the first provision of support in Croatia to this date, and are strong efforts in removing stigma around abortion in…
