How can you improve team members' critical thinking skills?
There is so much to say for creating 'silence' in situations like this. When asking open ended questions, you will find the less you say, the more it allows a person to fully step into their thoughts and play them out with you. There is a famous saying I'm sure most have heard, about having two ears and one mouth..meaning we should listen twice as much as we talk. In leadership, in nurturing people. It isn't about telling them how it is or even bossing them around. It's about truly understanding what their thoughts are, so that you can help guide them accordingly. To do that, don't be afraid of allowing silence. It helps a team to feel heard, whilst also encouraging them to explore their own thoughts and answers.

How can you improve team members' critical thinking skills?
For me, the real key here is to create a space where people feel comfortable enough to challenge. Titles and seniority should not come into play when it comes to viewpoint and innovation. By reinforcing a culture that not only encourages, but celebrates ideas being challenged, it inevitably creates a more 'together' vision alongside a bigger pool of fantastic ideas. Tear away the barriers and the 'norms' of management, rather than dictating the vision, share it, adapt it into one collective vision. A fantastic way to leave no stone unturned, together. Really, what better way to foster a company to success, than to create a space for the people nurturing it to feel heard.. 1. CREATE THE SPACE. 2. LOSE THE TITLES 3. WATCH THE MAGIC
