Rob Verkerk PhD is a multi-disciplinary scientist, researcher, campaigner, freedom proponent and regenerative health advocate. He is the founder of one of the leading health freedom non-profits, the Alliance for Natural Health, heading up both the international base in the UK (since 2002) and, as of April 2023, also the US office. For 40 years, Dr Verkerk has used science as a tool for good, not as a weapon for misinformation, while upholding human inalienable rights, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law. He has a MSc and PhD from Imperial College London where he continued his research as a postdoctoral research fellow for a further 7 years, working on projects in Eastern and Southern Africa, as well as Central and South-East Asia. He has published more than 250 articles questioning the mainstream approach to COVID-19, is a pioneer of new, nature-aligned approaches to human health, and has authored more than 60 papers in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings, including one of the largest studies on those who have exercised their right to avoid C19 genetic vaccines. Dr Verkerk is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition, a fellow of the Royal College of Medicine (London), and scientific advisor to the UK-based integrative cancer charity, Yes to Life. I set up Systems Pest Management in 1983 as a pioneering venture to develop and implement social and environmentally responsible urban pest management, initially in the Sydney Metropolitan Area and Blue Mountains. This was in response to the incredibly intensive use of organochlorine, organophosphate and carbamate pesticides being used at the time, and the lack of recognition of multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS) of which I was a sufferer. We pioneered pesticide-free approaches to termite and cockroach control back in the 1980s, and I published a book "Building Out Termites" that brought together all of our work in 1990. My work as a volunteer with the TEC brought together many of my passions and concerns: protecting the natural environment through campaigns to stop the relentless destruction of native rainforests in Australia, through to campaigning to ban organochlorine pesticides, increasing public awareness about problems linked to chemicals in the environment, and working with clinicians to ensure the formal recognition of multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS).
