“I worked with Rosey on several IT projects during my time at Chesapeake, and also interacted with her regularly through my duties in applications support. Rosey was a member of the Purchasing team, and I was a software developer / designer. Our first major project was to design and develop a database system for the purchasing team which would handle all of the internal service contracts. Rosey drove the project and presented the requirement clearly and competently. I was able to build a prototype system based on Rosey's specification and found her very approachable when ironing out the amendments which followed. The final system worked well for all those involved, which was as much a product of the initial concept from Rosey as it was software design. I also worked with Rosey by using her application knowledge to resolve several system problems in other software. Rosey was consistent and accurate in presenting an overview of problems, and displayed empathy and understanding when it came to the development team to diagnose and fix them. All in all, Rosey was a pleasure to work with.”
