As Commercial Director at Zencargo I own our profitability metrics and margin strategy. Reporting to both founders (CEO and CCO), I work alongside the rest of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure our pricing structure, commercial approach and internal processes drive progress in our Gross Margin and EBITDA.

At Zencargo I have also worked in Strategy, Account Management and Operations roles. I scaled the Operations team from 15 to 50 people in 2020, set up the strategy & excellence function enabling Operations to deliver an 85% improvement in our platform data KPI, built the Customer Operations function to deliver improvements in customer service, including a 80% improvement in query resolution time.

Before joining Zencargo I worked as a digital and operational transformation consultant focussing on designing and implementing change, working alongside client teams to ensure sustainability and advising business leaders on their operational strategy. For the majority of that time I worked at Newton, an operational improvement consultancy that gave me exposure to FMCG, healthcare, defence and infrastructure sectors. It has a strong culture of cooperation & people development. It has a guaranteed fee model making it very results focussed.
